		<description>I'm with you to a degree on this.  He's still a veteran presence who's been there and doesn't get too hurt by the circumstances when things are going badly.  This is one of the biggest weaknesses of our point guard corps.

Also, I used the quotation marks around "soft" for just the reason you're saying.  Anyone who watches either player is crazy to call them soft.</description>

		<description>"defensive stopper veteran point guard" hardly describes derek fisher.  fisher couldn't guard me at this point. he definitely did not play "good defense" throughout the playoffs.

he was accurately described as the weakest part of LA's defense by many, many people.  

the point about ariza is very well taken though.  he was a difference maker in the series and was huge for LA.  great d and shot the ball well from 3.  also pau being called 'soft' by people is silly.  how many pf's or centers can guard both dwight and rashard?</description>
